Excellence in the Community

Access Media Inc. visited our new site in September and did a documentary on who we are and what we do here at The Lending Cupboard. They did a wonderful job! We are thankful for their support in bringing awareness to The Lending Cupboard and the services that we provide to central Albertans. Congratulations to Harvey Jackson, Ken & Phyllis Whitehead and Connie Wiseman on receiving the Mayor’s Recognition Award for Distinguished Voluntary Service.

The awards ceremony was held at the Cambridge Red Deer Hotel & Conference Centre on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Harvey, Ken, Phyllis and Connie along with all of our volunteers are instrumental in the good work that we do! Their gifts and services range anywhere from repairing, cleaning, sanitizing our equipment to making decorations, cakes for a fundraising event. There is something for everyone here at TLC and we appreciate the many talents!
