Julien was born with one arm shorter than the other, which requires him to wear a Taylor Spatial Frame, which slowly pulls his wrist back into position. Unfortunately, the device is heavy and caused Julien pain when his arm rests at his side. Looking for a solution Julien and his parents came to The Lending Cupboard™ (TLC) for a wheelchair, allowing Julien to comfortably rest his arm on a pillow across his lap. “It’s less painful for him and he can be out doing things for longer periods of time," Leita, Julien’s mom told us. Not to mention, Julien loves having the wheelchair!

Wanting to pay it forward, Julien decided to donate to TLC.

“I wanted to donate so that (TLC) could have more stuff, just in case a lot of people needed something, (it would) help with not running out.”

As he pointed out, a client could end up visiting and not be able to get the equipment that they might really need. “The money can help with getting more equipment to help!”
